EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: FINANCE DIRECTOR 

Gilliam County is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Finance Director 

General Statement of Responsibilities
The Finance Director is responsible for keeping accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with County policy, State and Federal laws and rules, and Accounting Standards.  Duties include, but are not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, payroll, preparation of audit reports and a variety of other activities. This position is classified as Confidential based on the position’s involvement in the research and preparation of documents for collective bargaining.

Salary and Benefits
Annual salary is $70,227-$83,791 depending on experience.  Excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision benefits for employee and family; paid PERS (Public Employee Retirement System) contribution plus paid vacation, holiday, and sick leave. 

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field;
AND three (3) years of finance or accounting experience (experience in a government agency preferred);
OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which ensures the ability to perform the essential functions of this position.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: COMMISSIONERS ASSISTANT/EMPLOYEE RESOURCE OFFICER
Gilliam County is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Commissioners Assistant/Employee Resource Officer.

General Statement of Responsibilities

The Assistant to the Commissioners/Employee Resources Officer is responsible for providing administrative assistance in support of the work of the County Commissioners. The position ensures development and implementation of employee-related policies, programs, and procedures, and serves as an integral resource to the County Management Team and employees on employee-related issues and training.

Salary and Benefits
Salary is $64,347.94-$76,776.45 annually depending on experience. Excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision benefits for employee and family; paid PERS (Public Employee Retirement System) contribution plus paid vacation, holiday, and sick leave.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field;
AND three (3) years of administrative support experience (Human Resources experience preferred);
OR any equivalent combination of education and experience that ensures the ability to perform the essential functions of this position.
