IT-ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, Testing Support (Morrisville, NC): Provide testing support for business functions for back office financial systems & applications built on mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, & DB2 - SQL/stored procedures, MQ, & Power Builder). Test applications built on Java & Visual Basic utilizing Quality Center (ALM) & HP Application Lifecycle Management. Develop automation scripts using test automation tool QTP (Quick Test Professional). Apply knowledge of SDLC to resolve issues & defects & support troubleshooting in testing environments. Monitor messages within middleware channels for system support in user acceptance testing (UAT) environments. Test & analyze existing mainframe applications to find & report defects. Define test strategy, test plans, & test reports, & write test cases for individual projects impacting the applications being tested. Conduct business continuity testing in test environments. Complete functional, regression, system integration, & performance testing.
