Pasquotank County Water Department Seeking applications for 1 Full-time Waste Water Operator

Qualifications:  Must be 18 years of age, valid driver’s license; 1-2 years of experience in a water treatment/waste water facility.  High School Diploma or GED required.  Must be able to obtain Spray Irrigation License within 24 months of being hired.

Duties:  The job will consist of, but not be limited to conducting research and analyzing data such as water treatment and sludge volume to determine equipment needs, process optimization and sludge disposal needs; Operate pumps and valves associated with waste water systems; Clean lift stations; Cut grass and maintain grounds, vehicle and equipment.
