General Accounting Manager

Grand Lake Health System located in St. Marys, Ohio has an opening for a General Accounting Manager. Must have Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 3 years' experience in advanced accounting or auditing. Certified Public Accountant preferred. 

Job Summary

Manages the day to day operations of the Accounts Payable, Payroll and Hospital General Accounting functions. Manages the Health System monthly closing and account reconciliations. Manages the preparation of government tax returns and budgets. Manages the preparation of cost reports to government and Hospital benchmarking activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA Preferred. Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. Expert in Microsoft Excel. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work in a team environment. Understanding of advanced accounting topics and methodologies including cost accounting and benchmarking. Minimum 3 years experience in advanced accounting or auditing. Previous Management experience. Strong Organizational skills.
