Our Food and Nutrition department has an outstanding opportunity for a 100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day Shift, Food Service Worker 1 position. The individual in this role will perform a variety of duties including preparing and serving food, maintaining sanitary conditions of kitchen facilities, and serving food on cafeteria line.


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Clean cafeteria tables, wiping down the seating chairs and counters to include condiment table
• Sweeping up any debris from the floor
• Empty trash receptacle as needed
• Refill napkin dispensers, clean in and out of the microwave
• Remove leftover trays from tables and return to the dish machine belt
• Wash and clean soda pop nozzles (Document cleaning)
• Pick up any trash/debris in café serving area, seating areas, cashier stations, and espresso bar
• Re-arrange tables and chairs as needed
• Clean café conveyor belt
• Wipe down the water island tray inside, and clean outside of ice machine, using stainless steel shine
• Mop and sweep up any spills in the café area
• Restock soda pop closet:  change bag-in-boxes and carbonation as needed wipe down tubing
• Put away condiments and napkins for the café with items delivered from storeroom
• Other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:
Possession of, or eligible for, a food handler's permit
