Shift |
Preferred student interested in year round employment. During the Summer: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (37.50 hrs/wk). During the crop growing season different hours, either earlier start times or later end times, may be necessary to complete research activities. During the semester: 10-15hrs/week |
Job Summary | Lab maintenance, plant tissue culture (prepare media, learn sterile technique), molecular biology work (isolate DNA and RNA, perform polymerase chain reaction experiments, gel electrophoresis) within the Hunt Lab in Plant and Soil Sciences. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | This is a temporary position with Plant and Soil Sciences. The position will be under the supervision of a department faculty or staff member to perform lab or field research as directed by supervisor or Graduate Research Assistant. |
