Environmental Protection Specialist

Responsibilities:

Under generaI supervision, independently plans and coordinates own work and performs administrative tasks of high-moderate difficulty in routine or special project tasks; related work performed as required or directed.
Assists with natural resource planning and management.
Administers EPA Grants and prepares monthly grant reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Master's Degree in related field preferred) with two years’ experience.
Knowledge of environmental protection program principles, practices and procedures associated with natural resource protection - ground water protection, quality standards, toxic control, etc.
Full-time, benefited position, $32,296 - $43,061 annually DOE. Must pass a background check, drug test and be insurable under the Tribe's auto insurance carrier.
