Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human services, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.  Knowledge of veteran benefits preferred.

Must be able to receive and maintain veterans’ service officer accreditation authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs through the sponsorship of the state or veteran service organizations.  Three (3) to five (5) years of office experience dealing with the public, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
