Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is looking for energetic, personable, motivated individual with excellent customer service skills.

Barrington Orthopedics Specialists is looking for a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant, assisting in clinic with patient evaluation and documentation.  To be assigned to a Physician in Clinic.  You would be seeing patients in clinic, H/P general overview of reason for visit and verifying all information completed thus far is accurate. Dependent on physician assignment duties will vary. Assist Physician with procedures, messaging, phone calls to patients and required documentation, process medical refills, work/gym notes, any other related paperwork as needed. Work shifts are based on the assigned physician. New grads are welcome!!  

Monday ~ Friday shifts scheduled between 730am-8pm & Saturdays rotations 8am-12pm

Job Requirements

Must be able to multitask and be willing to learn new tasks. This position is very hands on and we will take the time to train you in all areas needed! 

Preferred

Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
Previous Experience in orthopedic setting

Previous experience with casting, splinting and DME

Athena EMR System - A PLUS
