We're a busy multi-location pipe, valve, and fitting industrial supply company seeking a motivated and committed individual for a permanent full-time position. This position is for an experienced DOT flatbed, stake body truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Benefits package includes health care, vision, dental, and pension.

Monday through Friday with opportunities for overtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily routes
• Loads and unloads trucks using forklifts
• Delivers products to and from customers, dealers or suppliers with company trucks, verifying loads against delivery tickets.
• Works in warehouse if time permits after daily deliveries.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid DOT medical card

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
