We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pediatric Neurosurgery team.

This is a full-time, day shift position, based at Cleveland Medical Center; it is a split inpatient/outpatient role with responsibilities for the inpatient service and consults as well as outpatient clinics. The role will require travel to other locations including, but not limited to Westlake, Landerhaven, Mentor, Sandusky, and Twinsburg. 

The APP will work collaboratively with residents in patient care and ensure continuity between inpatient admissions and outpatient follow-up.  They will participate in divisional quality initiatives and will have the opportunity to participate in research. Adequate time will be allocated for office and administrative duties.

Position Requirements:

Demonstrated competence as a practitioner

Effective oral and written communication skills

A variety of technical patient care devices specific to the clinical area

Computers and selected office equipment

Experience and Knowledge:

Demonstrated leadership skills

Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships

Education/Expertise:

Nurse Practitioner: 

Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice.

-or-

Physician Assistant: 

Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification.

Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT):

Nurse Practitioner: 

Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Ohio.

Current APRN license to practice in Ohio.

Family or Pediatric Certified Nurse Practitioner 

-or-

Physician Assistant: 

NCCPA-Certified.

DEA license
