Regular Days Off: Saturday and Sunday / at times work during non-business hours, and at different sites may be required 
Supervision Exercised: Be able to work independently in the laboratory 

Salary: $50,004.00 Annually. Yearly pay increases follow the NIH post-doctoral salary scale. 

 Job Overview and General Statements of Duties: The candidate will contribute to the creation of a women's health bioanalytics platform using wound healing assays and other methods of analysis.  Candidate will perform biomedical science studies at Westfield State University, Westfield, MA and work with IOMICS Intelligent Analytics learning biomedical analytics.


Requirements:

Required Qualifications: 

  • Be able to work independently in the laboratory and operate/maintain laboratory equipment. 
  • Have a history in tissue handling and have strong aseptic, cell-culture techniques.
  • Be detailed oriented: entering/recording, storing, and maintaining information in written or electronic form. 
  • Work during regular and non-business hours, and at different sites.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Candidate should have a molecular/cellular biology background.

This is a 3-year, full-time position working on a collaborative initiative between Westfield State University and IOMICS Intelligent Analytics. Candidate will be a contractor for at IOMICS Intelligent Analytics, funded through the Massachusetts Life Sciences Women's Health Program.
