Position Purpose | Manages implementation of instructional technology infrastructure projects, processes, audio/visual (A/V) services, and systems technical support, according to Tuck’s mission, strategy, and institutional priorities. |

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp | Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience |
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities | 1. Experience and skill operating, maintaining, and training others to use audio/visual systems used in businesses and educational institutions. 2. Experience and skill in project management, managing junior technicians, and coordinating with vendors. 3. Knowledge of instructional technology systems gained through a combination of technical education and relevant work experience. Infocomm CTS designation preferred. 4. Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals. 5. Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of students, senior officers, faculty and professional staff colleagues, and supervisees. 6. Able to introduce and drive innovation in ways small and large. 7. Able to collaborate with others as primary means to achieve lasting results. 8. Able to seek out and create learning opportunities, including through those revealed by setbacks and failures as well as successes. |
Preferred Qualifications | Experience in a higher education institution. |

Description | Envisions, develops, articulates, and implements plans for achieving instructional technology project, service delivery, and technical support goals and priorities; engages with students, faculty, and fellow Tuck and Dartmouth IT and other colleagues to achieve goals and priorities, and to anticipate, identify, and deal with challenges; evaluates and reports progress achieving plans using data analytics, particularly equipment performance metrics and feedback from students, faculty, and staff; and updates goals and priorities with direction from the associate director. |

Description | Schedules, manages, and evaluates technicians assigned to classes, meetings, and events, including in-person management of high profile events and resolution of technical issues (35%); participates in assessing A/V capabilities and proposing equipment and process improvements, and manages equipment installations, upgrades, and readiness checklists on the main campus and at satellite/remote locations (25%); supports associate director in developing, updating, and disseminating equipment specifications, operating standards, and maintenance schedules (5%); coordinates with service vendors on equipment installations, upgrades, and maintenance (5%); and provides systems user training programs, including development and updating of instructional training materials. |
