The Family Planning Program, part of the Community Health Services Division of Public Health – Seattle & King County, is seeking three (3) dedicated and enthusiastic community-basedFamily Planning Health Educators to serve our diverse King County communities. The Family Planning Program provides comprehensive sexual and reproductive clinical services in four (4) Public Health Clinics, delivers innovative health education and outreach in our communities, and produces the nationally recognized FLASH curriculum. Family Planning Health Educators work to increase King County residents’ access to high quality sexual and reproductive health services and to institutionalize the provision of sound sexual health education programs and practices, particularly in settings serving teens and marginalized adults.
The classification for these positions is Educator Consultant I. Work will take place at home clinic sites, in the community and via telecommuting as dictated by community and program needs. The positions are full-time (1.0 FTE) with the following breakdown of location, job type and estimated term limit.
