The Metabolic Dietetic technician will assist the metabolic dietitians in providing comprehensive nutrition services for patients with inherited metabolic conditions or inborn errors of metabolism through clinical practice, education, advocacy, and research. The employee will work closely with a team of geneticists, genetic counselors and metabolic nutritionists in the evaluation and management of this patient population. Patients with these disorders typically require intensive dietary intervention to prevent metabolic decompensation.
