Mechanical Assembler/Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Pneumatic Scale Angelus is a world-wide leader in the packaging machinery industry, serving the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, and household product markets and we currently have open positions for a Mechanical Assembler and a Computer Numerical Control Machinist.

Assembler: Duties of this position include prepping parts (drilling, tapping, cleaning, and/or deburring) and assembling machine components in accordance to a blueprint.
The qualified candidate must be able to measure close tolerances using various instruments such as mics, depth mics, inside mics, calipers, filler and bore gages.

The responsibilities for both Assembler & Computer Numerical Control Machinist positions require knowledge of standard machine shop practices, procedures, and techniques. Read and analyze prints, layouts or route sheets to determine set-up. Ability to plan and execute work to precision tolerances, allowances, and finishes.

Machinist: A two year certificate in machining or related field or a high school diploma/general educational development and a minimum of 4 years relevant machining experience. Possess basic shop math skills including trigonometry and geometry. Ability to measure with precision machining measuring tools.
