KEITH Manufacturing Co. is expanding and growing our CNC Machine Shop. Listed are three open positions.
CNC Machine Shop Team Leader, CNC Milling Team Leader, CNC Lathe Team Leader
Shift:  5:00 am – 3:30 pm   Monday – Thursday
Overtime may be required

KEITH Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales, and rolls. The company’s state of the art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. Responsibilities include leading team members with loading machines, positioning work and inspecting completed parts. Assign jobs and set machine schedules. Assist with machine shop routing. Assist Engineering team with design for machine capability. Assist Tooling Dept. with needs and inventory levels of required tooling. Assist Maintenance Dept. in timetable both preventive maintenance and machine breakdown. Support standard work and daily production logs. Oversee job performance and provide feedback to team members. Assist Plant Manager with interviewing and hiring team members. Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age and pass employer screening. Experienced Machinist III skillset required. Lead by example with a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Knowledge of Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, and Outlook. Lean experience preferred (Hoshin goal setting), (PDCA problem-solving), Kan Ban, Visual Controls, 6S, KPI. Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.) May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.

Physical Requirements include ability to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time. Lift 25 lbs. repetitively. Production facility exposed to continual machine noise.
