CHIEF WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

The Town of Colonie (Latham Water District) seeks a Chief Water Treatment Plant Operator to lead the operation of its 31.5 MGD Mohawk View Water Treatment Plant located in Latham, NY. 

Candidates must possess either a BS or AS degree or be a licensed Professional Engineer and hold a Grade 1-A Water Treatment Plant Operator Certificate and have experience operating a modern water treatment plant with facilities for filtration with pre-treatment. 

Starting salary is $80,625 with scheduled increases to $89,584 after 2 years.
