Directs and manages the following aspects of the Arapahoe Basin HR Function:
• Compliance, Policies, Procedures and Guidelines;
• HRIS system;
• Compensation and Benefit plans;
• Employee Relations
Works in close conjunction with the HR Manager of Talent Acquisition & Development in performing the HR function for Arapahoe Basin.
Understands Arapahoe Basin’s internal and external culture and fosters the spread of the culture to all employees.
• Manages, collaboratively develops and implements the Arapahoe Basin Employee Handbook and other company guidelines in conjunction with team leaders of the organization.
• Directs all functions of applicant and employee record keeping, compliance and HRIS. Upgrades these systems and works with vendors as needed.
• Manages the compensation and benefit plans that includes working with employee insurance providers, Brokers and A-Basin leadership, HR Manager T&D, VP of Operations, Accounting, etc.
• Engages with all members of A-Basin leadership to work through employee relations issues and follows up with HR Manager T&D if further training is needed.
