Assist individuals re-entering the community with navigating the criminal justice system!

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Criminal Justice Specialist in the PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) program at Behavioral Health Network!

**NOTICE**

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the PACT program with the following:

  • Serving as the primary liaison between the PACT Program and Criminal Justice system to assist individuals served navigate the criminal Justice system (e.g., for probations, paroles, jails, and state hospitals).
  • Coordinating parole, probation, the Mental Health Court, and releases from incarcerations and integration into the community.
  • Being a primary implementer of strategies to meet Treatment Plan goals and providing on-going information, periodic reviews, and documentation.
  • Assists individuals with outreach services to maintain and enhance their social support network through opportunities to meet new friends, build stronger relationships with family members and guardians, attend religious services and join religious groups, and foster engagement in other community groups and organization and relationships.
  • Providing safe and timely transportation in own vehicle, as needed for medical appointments, recreational activities, shopping, errands, etc.
  • Providing crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
  • Completing progress notes, program-specific forms and documentation, such as Incident Reports and Medication Occurrence Reports, in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring individuals’ overall health and well-being, including assisting with all aspects of medication treatment and administration.
  • Serving as primary case manager for assigned caseload.

The Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) program is a highly integrated outreach and 24/7 residential program that helps individuals meet their goals and reduce hospitalizations. PACT provides clinical wraparound support in the community and in our group residential program to perpetuate recovery and wellness for the individuals served. The PACT team is forensic-focused and designed to reduce arrests and incarcerations.

What are we looking for in the Criminal Justice Specialist?

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required); Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Criminal Justice (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of criminal justice system.
  • Obtain and maintain MAP certification within introductory period of employment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
