Employee Benefits Broker/Account Manager

IIB, is looking for a self- starter who wants to advance in their knowledge of employee benefits.  Must be versed in:
Marketing accounts with carriers
Can process employee enrollments and terminations and implement client decisions on new business and renewals
Can conduct open enrollments meetings either in person or virtual
Proficient with spread sheets, presentations, and power points
Knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, Medicare, HIPAA, etc.
2-5 yrs exp servicing employee benefit accounts 2-500 employees
Works well with others and embraces  the Team concept
Licensed in Oklahoma Acc/Health & Life, other states a plus
Benefits package includes: medical, dental, vision, flex, disability, life , profit sharing, 15 paid holidays & 4 weeks’ vacation. Salary $40k to $100k Dep on Qualifications plus Bonus.

History
International Insurance Brokers, Ltd. (IIB) traces its roots to 1979 when C. Gene Quarles, an insurance broker from Missouri, decided to establish an insurance agency in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After 18 years with a national brokerage firm Gene had become a successful insurance broker specializing in large, hard to place risks particularly in the transportation sector.

In 2003 Matthew F. Coughlin, III a transplanted New Yorker with 28 years in the insurance business decided that he would form a brokerage firm that would transform the insurance industry by merging disparate insurance disciplines, consolidating account management, offering multiple service options and implementing technological advances.

In 2004 the two men's paths crossed. By this time The Quarles Agency had become a large regional firm with international accounts. Gene had suffered some ill health and had sold the firm to a bank which rebranded the agency as Team Insurance Group. Coughlin realized that the two firms would be a good fit and made an unsolicited offer to purchase the company from the bank. On December 31, 2004, IIB acquired Team Insurance Group, Inc. and a new national insurance broker was born. Gene remained with IIB until his death in 2010.

IIB remains privately held and, while headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma serves clients nationwide. We continue to offer Risk Management, Property, Casualty, Employee Benefits and Pension services.
