Academic Instructor

Position –Open Until Filled

Responsible for providing academic training to students in accordance with approved curricula to ensure they leave the program as graduates that attain and maintain employment. 

Requirements: Certified to teach in state in which center is located. Valid state driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certifications.

Career Preparation Specialist

Position –Open Until Filled

Responsible for providing training to students in accordance with approved curricula during the Career Preparation Phase.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Social Sciences. Valid state driver’s license. CPR certification. Preferred: Teaching certification in the state in which the Center is located with K-12 endorsements. One year of teaching experience.

OCT Non Residential Counselor

Position Open-Until Filled

Responsible for administering the Off Center Training program. 

Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree with at least 15 semester hours of instruction in Social Services related instruction. One year’s experience in counseling related services. Valid state driver’s license. CPR/First Aid certifications.

Facility Manager

Position-Open Until Closed

Responsible for the supervision of all maintenance, custodial care, grounds keeping and rehabilitation projects of the facility.

Requirements: Associates Degree and a minimum of 2 years in facilities management experience. Valid state driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certifications. Current building trades licenses preferred.

Food Service Manager

Position-Open Until Filled

The Food Services Supervisor is responsible for the overall administration of the cafeteria to include nutritional menu planning, food inventory, sanitation compliance and all Department of Labor regulations as it relates to nutritional adequacy.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Broad knowledge of food services and two years of work related experience in addition to supervisory experience. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and utilize good judgment at all times. General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Sound communication skills to include oral and written. Excellent project management skills CPR/First Aid certifications  ServSafe Certified Instructor Certification. 

Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Restaurant Association affiliation.

Licensed Practical Nurse

Assists the Wellness manager in planning, implementing, and evaluating an efficient Wellness Program consistent with the students’ needs and Job Corps’ goals and objectives. 

Requirements: LPN, licensed to practice in state where center is located. Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state where the center is located, valid state driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certifications.

CTT Advanced Welding Instructor

Position –Open Until Filled

Responsible for providing career technical training to students in accordance with approved curricula to ensure they leave the program as graduates that attain and maintain employment.

Requirements:  HSD/GED required. Pipe welding experience preferred. Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state in which the center is located, or is accredited by a professional trade organization.

Recreation Specialist-Part Time

Responsible for monitoring and directing students engaged in Center-sponsored recreational activities on- and off-center in compliance with government and management directives. Organizes, conducts, and supervises recreation and leisure time activities.

Requirements: Associates of arts degree or 1 year of related experience working with youth. Valid CDL with P endorsement license; CPR/First Aid certifications. CDL preferred.

Groundskeeper

Performs maintenance duties and other grounds keeping, landscaping and custodial duties; performs routine and emergency cleanup.

Senior Residential Advisor

Position –Open Until Filled

Monitor and assist students with their daily dormitory needs and ensure student accountability at all times.  The Senior Residential Advisors will act as the point of contact in the absence of the supervisor.

Requirements: High School Diploma. Valid state driver’s license. CPR/First Aid certifications. Preferred Associate's degree, Experience working with youth, Computer literacy; specifically internet, e-mail and Microsoft Suites.

Coordinates and administers meal preparation, service, and clean up in the kitchen and cafeteria

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, experience preferred.  ServSafe Certification, Valid state driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certifications, other culinary arts certifications preferred.

Responsible for a professional level of student support to ensure increased student demonstration of Career Success Standards and other pertinent skills which lead to students’ orderly separation from the Job Corps program.

Security Officer

Position –Open Until Filled

Protects and ensures the welfare of students, staff, facilities, grounds and equipment.  Assists drivers in transporting student to and from off-Center appointments and other destinations as assigned.

Requirements: HSD/GED required. Associate’s Degree in related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and related experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.  Valid state driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certifications. CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement preferred.

Provides transportation support to Center using GSA vehicles. Transports students to and from off-Center appointments and other destinations as assigned. Supports other departmental goals and initiatives. 

Requirements: HSD/GED. Must have a valid CDL with a P endorsement and good driving record; CPR/First Aid certifications.
