ASSE International Inc. seeks an Accounting Specialist in Laguna Beach, CA. Prepare & review audit schedules to support outside CPA firm's audit work. Prepare reports related to financial status & operating procedures of not-for-profit international exchange program. Prepare financial statements, explanations of variance from budget & communicate w/CPA firm. Work w/payables, receivables, cash balances, contracts, customer vetting, program database review & integration. Review organizational internal controls from audit perspective. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting plus 2 years experience conducting accounting & budget analysis, preparation of financial information in accordance w/relevant accounting standards & budget analyses plus an additional six (6) months experience in not-for-profit international exchange program organization.
