This team-leading position in MTSU's Department of Recording Industry oversees maintenance of seven continuously operating educational recording studios, several high-technology laboratory classrooms, a small concert venue classroom, as well as additional department-controlled spaces on campus equipped with varied ranges of analog, digital and networked media production equipment. Maintenance duties include design, planning, installation, preventative care, diagnostics, service, repairs and storage logistics, as well as oversight of the maintenance workshop. The position will oversee the football program’s overall video and audio needs. This position will have an emphasis on over-seeing the coaching video needs of the football program. The Assistant Athletic Trainer has primary responsibility to assist with the overall medical and health related care of student athletes participating in NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic teams within the University. Essential duties include but are not be limited to: assist in prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, physician referral, and medical documentation of all injuries associated with assigned student athletes; communication with coaches, student athletes, parents, staff and physicians within NATA and HIPAA guidelines; maintain and observe all athletic policy and procedures in accordance with NATA regulations and remain certified to perform these duties on a daily basis.
