Hours: 3 days per week 2p-9p. Every
other or every 3rd Saturday 8-2.
Days will vary, but schedule will be out 4-6weeks out.
Individuals in this role:
Provide quality sonographic images in a timely manner.
Assures a safe and clean environment.
Maintains knowledge of technical skills.
Successfully completes ultrasound scans.
Answers the phone and completes documentation appropriately.
Collaborates effectively with staff and co workers.
Demonstrates age specific knowledge.
Adheres to hospital safety standards.
Perform, follow protocol, and maintain competency for High Level Disinfection procedures.
Take responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Provide age specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics. Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures preferred.
Knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment.
Basic knowledge of oxygen tanks, suction machines and IVAC pumps. Knowledge of computer stored images.

Education: Completion of accredited school of diagnostic imaging
BLS Certified, American Heart Association. One year experience in scanning Abdominal, Vascular, Gynecology and OB/GYN preferred.
