Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Warehouse Worker who will be responsible for all processes and procedures in the shipping and receiving department, and ensure the compliance of all safety policies, procedures, and security of individuals and the materials associated with the warehouse.  You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 Job Duties:

  • Pack and ship all sales orders and other materials, utilizing small parcel or LTL freight carriers
  • Perform warehousing duties entailing the moving and storage of raw materials, components, supplies, finished goods, ad work-in-process
  • Distribute raw materials, components, and supplies I a timely manner to appropriate areas
  • Load and unload trucking utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, two-wheel hand trucks, platform carts or manually lifting
  • Complete all required documentation for out bound shipments and reconcile the finished goods inventory daily
  • View and inspect all inbound shipments to assure appropriate condition
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve company goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Comply with all applicable rules and policies and maintain all OSHA, DOT, FDA, ISO regulations within the warehouse
  • Perform other duties as needed

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have prior experience with accounting systems, bill of lading, and hazardous materials reference software
  • Must be certified to prepare and ship hazardous materials
  • Trained and certified in the handling and processing requirements for international shipments is a plus
  • Knowledge of ERP System and RF scanner guns a plus
  • Must be trained and certified to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Must be familiar with UP, FedEx, ad LTL freight shipment requirements
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
