Senior Aerothermal Engineer with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Irvine, CA. Model proposed solutions from Aerodynamics team & integrate them into existing models.

Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field & 2 years of [or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent as stated above & 5 years of] experience with aerodynamics &/or thermal analysis. Experience must include Computer Aided Design (CAD) or class A surfacing experience using CATIA, Solidworks, NX, &/or ALIAS; Computational Fluid dynamics (CFD) software experience using StarCCM+, OpenFOAM &/or Fluent; Mesh Prpartn experience using ANSA &/or ICEM; Wind tunnel testing experience; & HPC & Cloud computing experience.
