Duties and Responsibilities
A Postdoctoral Research Scholar position is available in Prof. Ali Vaziri-Gohar’s Lab at the Department of Cancer Biology, Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. We are seeking a motivated postdoctoral research scholar to conduct original research using human cell lines and mice to study how altered metabolism supports cancer growth. We are a highly interactive team using integrated molecular/cell biology, and metabolic profiling, and in vivo approaches to advance targeted cancer therapy. A successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in a discipline related to the molecular and cellular cancer research. Applicants should have strong skills in molecular and cell biology, excellent communication skills, both orally and written, and a solid publication record. Experience with animal handling is preferred but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Please email your CV to: avaziri1@luc.edu.
