University Hospitals Medical Group is seeking 2 qualified and enthusiastic certified nurse-midwives for 2 full-scope practice openings at University Hospitals/Cleveland Medical Center campus.
 
UHCMC MacDonald Women's Hospital (Level 4) is the main birthing location for UHMG Midwifery Service.  Our busy academic practice consists of 14 CNMs and 3 NPs, provides services at 7 ambulatory office locations, and births approximately 1100 clients annually.  In addition to servicing midwifery clients, our full-scope practice also provides 24/7 Labor & Delivery team-based care with our residents and attending physicians.  Our practice is actively involved in OB/GYN, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine resident education, medical student education, APN student education and research.

We have the largest Centering Pregnancy/Parenting program in Ohio, and recently expanded our enrollment with the opening of our new UH Rainbow Center for Women & Children in July 2018.  UH is designated as Centering Healthcare Institute's Regional Leadership Partner in the Midwest.  We are actively involved in addressing racial disparities in maternity care, and are active in First Year Cleveland, the infant mortality city-county task force for the region.
