BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates and implements the research, design, and evaluation of NERC Continuous Education training; providing training to all required employees. Oversees mandates by NERC, WECC and other applicable regulatory agencies and standards regarding operation, control and monitoring of PUD generation and transmission facilities. Develops, tracks, monitors compliance training/programs, policies, procedures and standards to meet compliance requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires 5 years transmission operating utility industry experience that includes specific knowledge of electrical theory, safety, switching and utility power systems including control areas, transmission, generation and distribution systems with 2 of those years' experience in a system operator training role; NERC Transmission Operator Certified or ability to obtain within 6 months from date of hire; WSDL. Prefer Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
