ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Include the following and others may be assigned o Station Sales and Service • Available for after hour calls and emergency service • Promote our Petroleum and Station Division • Responsible for all sales tickets to be properly priced and billed • Be aware of the current retail market and notify management of the current business climate • Inventory Management-counting, pricing and general inventory knowledge • Minimize shrink and shortage • Continue to learn and keep abreast of current laws affecting tire service and auto parts installation • Promote new marketing ideas related to our Petroleum Division o Responsible for the image and conditions of the Station • Maintain a clean environment at all times o At all times, keep safety of the employee and customer as a priority • Monitor safety standards for the station warehouse, equipment, and postings required • Utilize the safety tools provided to minimize risk o Attentive to Customer Service satisfaction with tire and auto service needs • Greet people in a friendly and professional manner o Promote leadership and support the Petroleum Division Standards • Fill in at other service centers when needed • Be to work on time and work the scheduled hours • Assist other divisions to achieve the Cooperative’s financial and customer satisfaction goals, be a team player o Notify the Station/C-Store Manager of any customer complaint or compliance issue o Cooperate fully with the main business office to maintain accurate information for our customer base In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, it is possible that requirements may be modified to reasonably accommodate disabled individuals. SUMMARY: Full time salesman will sell services and products in a manner that will optimize the cooperative’s market share and savings, improve the cooperative’s efficiency, help achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Promote Sales and Agronomy Service. Responsibilities involve sales, inventory, reporting, maintenance, and other duties as assigned by management. A positive attitude will be maintained that promotes team work within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative. • Sales includes working with Marketing Manager to establish sales goals and to develop and promote a marketing plan. o Assist in establishing sales goals o Work with management and employees to maintain these goals o Responsible for seed sales, purchases, deliveries and margins o Assist in developing and promoting a competitive marketing plan o Make proper recommendations and applications of products sold o Keep resource manuals accessible and current o Ensure no product problems result due to your recommendation o Attend all product updates and service training sessions o Know prices of products and services o Maintain current market share o Loose no customers due to careless performance o Keep all customers supplied with product o Inventory involves analyzing and projecting customers’ seasonal needs and assisting the general and department managers in periodically evaluating the product line. o Maintenance involves maintaining the company vehicle and equipment for maximum performance, efficiency, and appearance. o Other Duties include upholding cooperative policies and other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Include the following and others may be assigned o Promote sales and service through our Agronomy Division • Greet people in a friendly and professional manner • Promote new marketing ideas related to our Agronomy Division • Review and manage the delivery support team to maximize acres and work closely as a team for customer satisfaction and an excellent cooperative image o Responsible for the delivery of chemicals, crop nutrients and maintenance of Agronomy assets • Deliver and custom apply crop production products, nutrients, herbicides and related products on the correct legal descriptions • Knowledge of legal descriptions and getting the correct inventory applied to the recommendation that is on the spray or spread sheet • Properly dispose of any crop production products, nutrients and water not applied to target field. o Maintain custom application equipment, trucks and pickups, keeping them in excellent working condition • Focus on image of equipment to our customer base • Maintain equipment to meet safety and DOT requirements o Keep shrink and/or shortage to a minimum o Be at work on time and work the scheduled hours • Wear personal protection equipment for safety o Notify the Plant Supervisor of any customer complaint or compliance issue o Cooperate fully with the main business office to maintain accurate information for our customer base

SUMMARY: Full-time Agronomy position with focus on support, sales and delivery. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Promote sales and service through our Agronomy Division. Responsible for deliver of chemicals, crop nutrients and maintenance of Agronomy assets. Keep our agronomy buildings clean and neat to promote safety for our customers and our image to the public. Unload railcars in a timely and safe manner according to Hi-Line Coop procedures. Keep shrink and shortage to a minimum. Be at work on time and work the scheduled hours. Notify the Plant supervisor/manager on any customer complaint or compliance issue. Cooperate fully with the main business office to maintain accurate information for our customer base.
Requirements
2 years of truck driving experience. Work experience related to agricultural production. Use fertilizer equipment safely and correctly. Handle fertilizer, chemicals and crop nutrients in a safe manner. Current CDL that meets the State requirement for the truck, truck and trailer, or pickup needed to perform the job. Bobcat and forklift certification.
