Job Summary: Will assist OTR in the evaluation of patients; assess ADL skills; assist in treatment planning; monitor responses to treatment and modify treatment with collaboration of OTR, attend designated clinics, rounds and conferences and render patient information and complete appropriate documentation. Other responsibilities include: providing inservice education and community education within the scope of knowledge base, clinically supervises COTA students, COTA level I and volunteers.  
Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, NYS C.O.T.A. certification and registration, and 2 years clinical experience (preferably in a Acute care) required. Candidates who possess an Associates degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, NYS temporary permit (but must obtain C.O.T.A. certification and registration within 1 year of appointment) and no experience will be considered for entry level (SL1) position at a commensurate salary. CPR certification required at time of appointment.
