Mortgage Loan Originator

Isabella Community Credit Union- Mount Pleasant responsible for:

• Interviewing mortgage applicants and completing the mortgage application;
• Reviewing and evaluating information on mortgage loan documents.
• Presenting applications to the credit committee for approval;
• Thoroughly reviewing credit report and cross-selling other credit union products and services;
• Completing mortgage documentations for submission to the secondary market;
• Keeping up to date on compliance, regulations and policies;
• Making recommendations for necessary changes to current policies;
• Other duties as assigned.

A college degree or combination of education and applicable work experience preferred. ability to be registered with NMLS in accordance with the SAFE ACT; knowledge of the secondary market focusing on Freddie Mac and experience with first and second mortgage residential real estate lending; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows based and Byte Pro programs.
