Behavioral Health Therapist

Under the Director of Behavioral Health Services, the Behavioral Health Therapist, Provides evidence based practice to both adults and children. The Behavioral Health Psychotherapist is part of the person centered integrated care team and provides direct and indirect services to persons served in the medical and behavioral health departments. provides direct Mental Health assessment, intervention and consultation to individuals and/or groups identified as having psychiatric disorders; plans treatment modalities, coordinates treatment plans and follows patients or groups through the treatment process. Provides comprehensive mental health assessment. Function as a part of the multi-disciplinary team, with the psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, medical providers, and nursing staff

Qualifications: • MSW, LCSW, LCPC, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT (Preferred) • The Therapist must possess a valid Iowa license. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package to include IPERS as well as continuing educational opportunities.
