Workers Compensation Paralegal

Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A., Canton location, is seeking a full-time Worker's Compensation Paralegal to support attorneys in our fast-paced and rapidly growing workers compensation defense practice.

A minimum of two-three years workers compensation paralegal experience is required. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess an understanding of the Ohio Workers Compensation claims adjudication and litigation process, have the ability to utilize Icon, Dolphin, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Time Matters and Pacer. Ohio State Bar Association Certification in Workers Compensation and an Associate Degree are preferable.

Responsibilities include managing and facilitating the legal defense of workers compensation claims, maintaining a hectic docket, drafting correspondence and pleadings, case management, file organization, personal contact with clients and third party administrators, researching and reviewing status of Bureau of Workers Compensation and Industrial Commision claim files and supporting and assisting with trials and appellate cases.
