The Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is a 42-bed unit at Blodgett Hospital. Team members enjoy working on the IRC unit as you can become an expert in so many areas since we care for a wide variety of diagnosis. Some of the patients we care for are stroke, lung and heart transplant, bone marrow transplant patients as well as ortho trauma, limb loss, brain injury and more. We often get to form great relationships with our patients and see them progress in a positive way. We have a very team-oriented floor and environment, which includes strong relationships as an interdisciplinary team. Also, we get the opportunity to care for every patient population within Spectrum Health, thus a diverse learning experience.
Unit Secretaries perform receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains confidential records, supplies and equipment per hospital and unit specific standards.
