To contain COVID-19 and fully re-open the region, Public Health -- Seattle & King County estimates that it will be necessary to vaccinate at least 70 percent of all adults, or approximately 1.26 million people. To help achieve this goal, there is an urgent need to create and expand COVID-19 vaccination capacity across King County.
Public Health – Seattle & King County (PHSKC) is opening two vaccination sites at the Downtown and Eastgate Public Health Centers to provide referral-based appointments to a targeted population of underserved communities and those disproportionately affected by COVID-19. These sites are expected to be open Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
We are looking to fill numerous Registered Nurse positions in the Community Health Services Division to work for up to eight months to support and maintain the operations of our Covid-19 vaccination program at the Downtown and Eastgate Public Health Centers.
This is a term limited temporary (TLT) or Special Duty position. This position will report to the site Vaccine Program Personal Health Services Supervisor. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and work well in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
