Server Virtualization Operations Engineer (Fort Worth, TX):

Resolve VMware related system outages & issues. Lead troubleshooting efforts for the VMware team on severity issues. Work with VMware support to minimize MTTR, identify root cause & fix the issues permanently. Work with VMware L3 engineering team to introduce methods & technology to prevent future issues. Support several ongoing VMware infrastructure remediation efforts. Work with

- Center Server,

- Sphere Cluster settings,

- Sphere Shared Storage (F/C, iSCSI & NFS),

- Sphere Networking (Standard & Distributed), Host Configuration, HA/DRS/SDRS, Affinity Rules, VM Resources & oversubscription technologies,

- Motion, SVMotion,

- App, ESXi Command Line & Blade Server infrastructure (Dell/HP/Cisco).

Requires a Master’s degree plus 2 years experience or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years experience. VMware vSphere certification is required.
