Position Summary: 

• Performs routine maintenance service or repair.  

• Complies with department standards and regulatory guidelines.  

• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.  

• Performs maintenance service or repairs on all Plant equipment, IE: boilers, chillers, compressors, generators, fire pumps, medical air pumps, vacuum pumps, electrical and mechanical calls. 

• Performs maintenance and repair all hospital electrical/mechanical and safety equipment. 

• Performs all work in accordance with established Safety Procedures. Holds appropriate licenses as may be required by law.

 Primary Job Duties:

1. Answers all calls as necessary to, maintain and install Hospital building mechanical and electrical systems and components.
2. Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces electrical and mechanical systems and/or components.
3. Performs preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems hospital and plant related.
4. Maintains compliance with all safety, local, state, federal and regulatory agency requirements..
5. Operates, maintains and repairs, boilers, chillers, compressors, generators, pumps, and other plant related equipment.
