The HIV/STD Program is seeking two (2) Community Outreach Specialists to help make free condoms more available and accessible in Seattle & King County.
The Condom Distribution Pilot Project aims to increase the availability, accessibility, and acceptability of free condoms in diverse communities and varying venues to promote condom use to decrease the transmission of HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). This position is responsible for monitoring and replenishing established Condom Cubes, and assisting in the recruitment of businesses, organizations, and other community locations to participate in the Condom Distribution Project. Community Outreach Specialists will also process returned condom inventory, prepare materials necessary for outreach, maintain the project’s supply stocked and organized, and deliver condoms to community-based organization and non-profits.
