24 Hour Emergency, Critical and Urgent Care Facility

• We have a full or part-time position open at Animal Emergency and Urgent Care.
• Our ideal candidate is a doctor who is interested in working at a fast-paced facility and who is committed to providing exceptional emergency and critical care medicine and soft tissue surgery.

• Depending upon how many shifts are worked per month in a combination of day and night shifts, base compensation ranges from 140,000-160,000/year. Production bonus is calculated monthly. A sign-on bonus will be offered.
• The facility was established in 1976 and has been privately owned since 1983. It is AAHA accredited.
• There are several Doctors and Staff members who have been working at the facility for more than 15 years. Mentorship is part of the culture. We work closely together and support each other.
• The Practice is active in homeless pet veterinary care.
• Bakersfield is one of the most affordable places to live in the country and is an easy commute from the Central Coast or the LA Basin. It is also not far from beautiful natural places to enjoy outdoor recreation.

Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position has a strong work ethic with good medical and surgical skills who likes working within a team approach to case management.
