This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor trailer combinations short and long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations.

This position is responsible for the safe delivery of feed to the feedmill in a timely manner and maintains responsibility for feed haul tractor and trailers. Good mechanical skills preferred. Applicant must be able to communicate effectively with other drivers, growers, loading crews, feedmill personnel and perform other duties as necessary and as assigned by supervisor. Must adhere to all guidelines in the Tyson Fleet Safety Manual and follow all DOT driver regulations. This position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, sit for long period of time, pass annual hearing test, corrected 20 20 vision and possess free use of all limbs or equivalent use of prosthesis. This position will be exposed on a routine basis to adverse temperatures ranging from hot warm 80-100F degrees, damp and dusty to cold 0-40 F degrees, damp and wet. Applicant must be able to panel or tarp completed trailers in these conditions.
