We are seeking a Key Account Sales Manager for Moultrie Mobile who will focus on the Buying Group, Distributor, Hardware, Independent, New Markets and Specialty channels.  The Key Account Sales Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing effective strategic plans to meet customer and company objectives. This role’s primary purpose will be responsible for leading and developing a sales team to achieve sales targets, establishing professional relationships with key customer accounts, and identifying new potential customers and market opportunities.  The Key Account Sales Manager will establish the vision, set the course of action, and execute the business plan for each of their accounts.  This position reports to the Director of Sales. 

 

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth for focus accounts and overall sales channels.
  • Build and manage detailed accountability metrics through measurable performance goals for accounts / sales agencies based on the territory sales plan.
  • Lead and manage independent sales agencies to deliver top line sales revenue and profitability.
  • Establish product education, sales tools, and training for independent sales agencies.
  • Oversee all responsibilities related to Regional, Buying Group, and Distributor shows.
  • By account, develop a seasonal/annual business plan that outlines growth, category, assortment distribution, and promotional objectives.
  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall brand objectives.
  • Advises clients concerning product, promotional, and advertising opportunities.  
  • Develops an influence approach that favorably positions Moultrie Mobile brand while addressing the shared goals of key accounts.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external resources to develop and manage the brand’s go-to-market strategies, programs, and assets. Communicates vision to all relevant customers.
  • Presents Moultrie Mobile products in a well-prepared business case through presentations and storytelling that show how they meet customer needs and provide value and benefit, beyond the features and benefits.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. 
  • Monitors, evaluates, provides feedback on the activities and products of the competition and market landscape.

 

Job Requirements:  

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Business, or related field. (In lieu of degree may consider candidates with equivalent work experience.)
  • 5+ years’ experience with a proven track record of successfully growing and servicing key customers in the Buying Group, Distributor, Hardware, Independent, Specialty Channels.
  • Strong customer relations background and sales experience in B2B environment. 
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Skills 

  • A background in the hunting, fishing, or outdoor sporting goods market. 
  • Independent Sales Management experience.
  • Outdoor Industry and Canada sales experience.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
