The AOD Therapist workscollaboratively in the Counseling Center and is a member of themulti-disciplinary AIRS team (Assessment, Intervention, and Recovery Services)within Campus Health. The clinician will be expected to provide screenings,assessments, individual short term- therapy, group therapy, psychoeducationalgroups, referrals, and assist in determining the appropriate level of care fortreatment services.

A strong background and experienceworking in Addiction Treatment and with individuals who meet the criteria for asubstance use disorder is needed. An ideal candidate that possesses addictionscredential (LAC, CAC, or equivalent) is desired. A candidate that isknowledgeable of current trending issues on college campus’ is also preferred.
