A manufacturing company is seeking CNC Lathe Operators to machine quality parts from blueprints and work orders in a timely manner.  There are openings on both first and second shifts.

Job Duties:

• Set-up machines with appropriate material, tooling, and adjust machine speeds and feeds 
• Utilize programs to make edits and programs to machines
• Monitor machine progress by checking tolerances, placement of machined areas, use calipers, measuring, and quality related tools
• Efficiently and safely operate machining equipment to machine specified part within specified tolerances
• Unload finished parts and stage in appropriate areas using overhead cranes and hoists, lifts, etc.
• Comply with safety rules, regulations, and policies at all times
• Act in a manner that results in collaboration, teamwork, and respect toward all co-workers and contacts

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have prior experience in a machining environment with formal or on-the-job training with CNC Lathe Machines
• Must have machining knowledge to proficiently machine parts 
• Must be proficient with basic shop math; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, algebra, and trigonometry
• Must have previously operated overhead cranes, hoist, lifts, etc. 
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have the ability to comply with all Company safety practices and rules
• Protective eye wear and steel toed boots required throughout the plant at all times
