SUNY Upstate Medical University Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is recruiting for a full-time faculty position with co-appointment to the Family Planning and Generalist Divisions. Located in Syracuse NY, we are a Ryan Residency Training Program site and the only academic medical center serving a 15-county area of Central New York. Our Division provides medical and surgical termination procedures to the full extent allowed by New York State’s Reproductive Health Act. Job responsibilities include supervision and teaching of Upstate’s OBGYN residents and medical students during Complex Family Planning clinics and in the OR, local coordination of the Ryan Program curriculum, supervision of resident continuity clinics and resident QI/research projects, and limited shared coverage of L&D night calls within the Generalist Division. Opportunities for leadership available as the Ryan Program Director.
