The City of Sterling, IL Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will be accepting applications for Firefighter for the Sterling Fire Department. 

General Requirements: Must be 21 years of age and not have reached your 35th birthday, US citizen, high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and good health and vision. Exam required.

A mandatory orientation will be held for applicants on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. at Newman Central Catholic High School, 1101 St. Mary's Road, Sterling, IL. Physical Ability & Written test to follow orientation. Valid CPAT cards will be accepted. Applicants should bring valid driver's license.
