Full-time, Visiting Lecturer Position in French

The Department of Modern Languages and Cultures invites applications for a full-time, visiting lecturer position in French. This is a non-tenure-track, potentially renewable appointment. The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in French and/or Francophone Literature and Culture, French linguistics, or the equivalent. Native or near-native proficiency in French is required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in language teaching at the undergraduate level. The course load is three courses per semester, primarily at the Introductory and Intermediate levels with the possibility of teaching an advanced course in French and Francophone cultural topics. Starting date is August 16, 2021. Classes begin on August 23, 2021.
