Flavor/Lead Person
Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity for an individual who will be responsible for the correct flavor and color addition to the base mix, coordinate production activities, and assist with maintaining safety and quality standards. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Retrieve flavors and material needed for the days production run
- Inspect materials for quality assurance before using them
- Record lot numbers of materials used and complete paperwork and logs as required
- Sanitize all production equipment prior to start-up
- Pump mix into flavor and colors into vats properly to formula for use in production
- Coordinate materials for all production lines
- Assist Filler Operators on initial start-up and throughout the day and with maintenance personnel in trouble-shooting equipment as necessary
- Uphold food safety and food quality plans, all company regulations, and customer requirements
- Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma of GED
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack and electric pallet jack
- Must be able to perform simple math functions, as well as reading and comprehending instructions
- Must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Must have good manual dexterity and communication skills
- Must be able to abide by the Company’s rules, regulations, and Safety Policies
