Part-Time Foreign Language Instructor

GECAC in Erie, PA is searching for a Part-Time Foreign Language Instructor to work in the Upward Bound Program on the campus of Edinboro University two Saturdays a month from November 6, 2021, to April 23, 2022, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Potential for summer teaching as well. Ideal candidate should have a passion for and be fluent in either Spanish, French, or German. Must be able to develop, implement & instruct a basic curriculum in the subject area and work well with and motivate students of diverse backgrounds.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education preferred or in subject area with active PA Certification. Fluent in either Spanish, French or German. At time of Interview, must provide ACT 33, 34 & FBI clearances issued within the past 5 years. Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams. The ability to operate a computer in a Windows 10 environment is essential. Familiarity with Zoom, PDF editing software, as well as experience effectively working remotely are desired. Must have enough knowledge to successfully complete the technical skills of the position. Meet Immigration Reform Act requirements & proof of education.

Salary range: $19.31 - $24.45 based on experience.
